What We’ve Been Reading

November 12, 2010

Here’s why there’s good news for choice from the election results.

One of the best arguments I’ve read yet to stand against supposed “right to know” laws.

There’s a new documentary on the scary “purity ball” phenomenon, summed up in the title of this review, “Daddy I do.”

On why tweeting about abortion is not necessarily trivializing.

Trusting women means always trusting women.

Anorexic women do have periods and become pregnant – with higher rates of unintended pregnancies.

You heard about George Bush’s “fetus in a jar” story?  The NYTimes responded with an in-depth look at how women and couples deal with miscarriages.  And here’s another sympathetic look at the story.

I’ve been wondering what the Islam stance on abortion is; now I have an answer.

Please share anything you’ve been reading this week in comments!
